Setting the Platinum Standard in Sustainability
As a LEED Platinum–certified landmark, the Museum of the Future meets the highest standards in sustainable building design and operation. 30% of the museum’s power is generated by a nearby solar farm, while an on-site treatment plant recycles up to 70% of its wastewater.
The design and materials of the building’s iconic façade maximise daylight and minimise heat gain, complemented by smart systems that dynamically adjust air quality, lighting, and temperature.

Rooted in the Desert
The museum rises from a lush, vegetated mound that acts as a natural thermal buffer, helping shield the interior from desert heat and reducing cooling demand. This living landscape is home to 30 native plant species, sustained by a smart irrigation system. By integrating real-time weather data to prevent waste, the mound remains a thriving biodiversity hub.
