A 2 hour workshop for 10-14 year olds, learning the principles of rover engineering design and space exploration.
Build a Rover Day’ is an immersive, hands-on workshop at the Museum of the Future. Taking place on three separate days in October, it has been carefully curated to spark curiosity and inspire young minds aged 10 - 14.
Developed with One Giant Leap Middle East, a global leader in space science education, this two-hour workshop (per day) blends STEM learning, creativity and innovation in a dynamic and interactive experience.
Participants will dive into the science and engineering of rovers through hands-on activities. They will learn key concepts in physics, aerodynamics, and engineering while designing, building, and launching their own rovers. Each session encourages teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking, with participants collaborating in small groups to complete their projects.
Build a Rover Day draws inspiration from the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025, helping participants develop future-ready skills such as analytical thinking, creativity, resilience, and environmental awareness.
