Speakers:


Dr. Abeer Al Najjar is a Professor of Media communication at the American University of Sharjah. Her academic focus lies in the intersection of media, society, and politics.
Her expertise is further recognized through her membership on the editorial boards of academic journals such as Journalism Studies and The International Journal of Communication.


Dr. Kiray Khoury is an Assistant Professor and Coordinator for the School of Communications and Creative Industries at the Canadian University Dubai. She holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Media Studies from the University of East London. Dr. Khoury's academic and professional expertise encompasses a wide range of subjects, including communication, consumer behavior, crisis management, advertising, public relations, public speaking, and digital marketing.


Dr. Vaios Papanagnou serves as the Program Director for the Master of Arts in Leadership and Innovation in Contemporary Media at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication at the American University in Dubai. Dr. Papanagnou's work explores how digital technologies are reshaping the production and consumption of media, the "platformisation" of journalism, and the political economy of the news media industry.
